Based in Seoul, South Korea, Casepeat (Kim Ki-Won) is widely regarded as South Korea's representative Trance and Progressive Music Producer and DJ. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Seoul Culture Arts University (SCAU) and the Korea Representative of Trance Family Asia.
Expanding his artistic boundaries into Techno and Film Music, he creates a sonic journey that resonates with audiences worldwide. From EDC Korea, ZeroTokyo and Amnesia Bangkok to Reverse Rotterdam, his performances connect local culture with the global stage, while releases on Subculture, AVA, Regenerate, Nocturnal Knights and Magic Island define a fast-growing international catalogue.

서울을 기반으로 활동하는 Casepeat(김기원)은 대한민국의 대표적인 트랜스 및 프로그레시브 음악 프로듀서이자 DJ들 중 한명이다. 서울문화예술대학교 실용음악학과 전공 외래교수로 출강하며 Trance Family Asia 대한민국 대표를 맡고 있다.
트랜스에서 테크노, 영화음악까지 영역을 확장하며 클럽과 페스티벌, 영화와 드라마, 광고 및 대중음악의 경계를 넘나드는 사운드를 만든다. EDC Korea, ZeroTokyo, Amnesia Bangkok, Reverse Rotterdam 등 국내외 무대에 올랐으며 Subculture, AVA, Regenerate, Nocturnal Knights, Magic Island 등 세계적인 레이블을 통해 음악을 발표했다.
